Hi, I’m Dave Farcht, owner, builder, and the hands behind Honored Heirlooms Woodworking.

For me, fine furniture making is about more than building something beautiful. It is the slow, intentional work of creating pieces that feel like they have always belonged in a home and will still belong there generations from now.

My formal training at the Chippendale International School of Furniture in Scotland gave me a classical foundation in fine woodworking, traditional joinery, and restoration. There I learned to see furniture not just as an object, but as a keeper of stories, a physical part of family history.

Today, I design and build bespoke furniture for clients who want more than something “nice” to fill a space. They want a table that hosts decades of gatherings, a piece that quietly anchors a room, or a restored heirloom that can be passed to the next generation. My work combines thoughtful design, carefully selected hardwoods, and meticulous craftsmanship to create pieces that are meant to be lived with, cared for, and handed down.

Honored Heirlooms exists for people who value that kind of longevity and meaning. If you are looking for furniture that reflects your story and will outlast trends, I would be honored to build it with you.
